Just for Me-Mi Jewelry Hand crafted jewelry and wood burnings by Amy. Rings, Necklaces, Bracelets and more. Very unique wood burning all of my work is a lot of 1 of a kind.

I started making beaded jewelry and I still do. But I love working with silverware from the past. We take great care in selecting the most beautiful silverware pieces that we can lay our hands on. I love vintage silverware, especially the detailed pieces, and to be able to create beautiful and unique items from something old or discarded is an amazing experience, to take the beauty of yesterday and transform it into jewelry for today and the future. What better way to recycle something that once was a thing of beauty into something that is. One hot tip though, if you love it... buy it. I can never say when I might stumble across that pattern again. If you see a piece of jewelry that you like and is no longer
available, please contact me. I may have the pattern here that has not been made into beautiful jewelry yet! Only a few years into the business I wanted to add more to the business, so I started wood burning. It was a learning curve, but I got it down pat. I did everything by hand and unfortunately, I was not able to keep up and had to purchase a laser engraver and still could not keep up so we now have two. The Annual Brushy Mountain 🍎 Apple Festival gets going as one of the state’s favorite events year in and year out!
Downtown North Wilkesboro will fill with visitors on Saturday, October 3, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for this free, rain-or-shine celebration of the region’s fall apple harvest. Several blocks become a huge outdoor marketplace packed with hundreds of artists, craft makers, food stands, and local nonprofit groups. You can watch mountain traditions come to life through woodcarving, pottery throwing, chair making, soap making, quilting, and other handmade work. Music carries through downtown from several stages featuring bluegrass, country, folk, gospel, and Appalachian sounds, while cloggers, square dancers, folk dancers, and rope skippers add even more action. Local growers bring fresh apples, c***r, and dried apples, and the food choices include sweet apple treats along with classic festival favorites.
Stop at the Brushy Mountain Ruritan Club booth at Main and Ninth streets for a program, maps, schedules, vendor locations, apple recipes, and local stories.
The fun begins Friday, October 2, with Apple Jam from 6 to 9 p.m. at Festival Park, where visitors can bring lawn chairs for live music and festival food.
