A dear friend and client asked if I could make something to celebrate her husband’s birthday and their love of The Ministry of St. Mary’s. There may be a certain Chapel there in his name. They are dear friends of a certain Bishop I know to be quite handy with woodworking.
Me: Hey David: I need you to help with a special piece for our friend. I’m building the bell tower of St. Mary’s. Do you have anything from St Mary’s we can use?
Bishop David: I have some wood from the original kneelers of the old Church from the 1920s
Me: Can you make 50mm x 50mm blocks, stain brick red, and send them to me?
My team can do anything, but this was larger than we are equipped for. That just meant we had to make It In 12 pieces (WHOOP 12TH MAN!)
I found an Incredible lantern box to place It In, and the good Bishop blessed It when In town.
