Honey lost her 4 year fight with esophageal cancer in October 2011. Without her, none of this would be possible. Inspiration to bring my designs to the public came from Honey - my grandmother - who lived her life as an individual grounded by family but with a passion for travel, adventure and knowledge. In her lifetime she traveled to over 80 countries bringing home with her an appreciation for the variety found in the world and for the wonderful home and family she loved. Honey was diagnosed with esophageal cancer and spent the next four years facing her battles head-on. Her life was indeed a journey and a celebration until the very end. Honey chose to invest in the future of my designs. The name evolved to Gypset Honey in her honor. As the business develops and sales grow, I hope to donate cancer research, awareness and hopefully, cures. A gypsy soul and jetsetting lifestyle combined into the Gypset tag. Bohemian attitudes, eclectic tastes and energetic ideas unite in the studio bringing simple beauty from a growing collection of treasures and objects of art. Thank you for your purchase of Gypset Honey jewelry and for your support of cancer research and the needs of those fighting their own battles for their lives. - Deidre Froelich
