Not that we don't have a simple gold chain, birthstone jewelry, diamond studs or watch batteries. We have all that and more.... but our philosophy is built around helping someone get what they want, not selling them something we want them to buy. Almost 20 years in the industry, we are a team of talented, creative folks, and desire to create a long lasting relationship with service first. Not All Gold Is Equal. Champions Know the Difference.

Olympic gold medals may shine bright, but they aren’t solid gold. They’re engineered for strength — just like fine jewelry. It turns out the gold medals are actually made of 494 grams of silver and 6 grams of gold. That's right, y'all. Apparently the last gold medal that was made entirely of gold was in 1912. In other words, those pretty gold medals are technically more silver than they are gold.

The gold and silver medals are both made of silver. The gold medals are then coated with gold. Each Olympic gold medal is made up of 210g of silver and is coated with 6g of 24 carat gold. The bronze medals are made of copper, zinc, tin, and a very small amount of silver.

The actual design and composition of Olympic medals is ultimately determined by a committee in the host country, but there are certain parameters that all medals must follow. For example, all Olympic medals have to measure at least 3 mm thick and at least 60 mm in diameter. The gold medals are also to be bathed in gold and plated in at least 6 grams of gold.
