Hey loves! We are back from vacation and getting settled in, this week has been a hectic week, but I am now catching up on messages and will spend next week finishing up orders that I currently have sitting on my desk.

I had the pleasure of making a matching set for a beautiful mom with two October babies! Two marigolds, one to represent each child. 🌺

Notice the multifaceted breastmilk stone? That means I had to build this stone backwards due to using a special mold, flowers and all. That is the only way to get these beautiful multi-facets that set it apart from the rest. It’s extremely difficult and has taken years of practice, but I’m so proud of this one!

Has anyone noticed a difference in my work the last few months?

Back in January, I very quietly took a huge leap—I went FULL-TIME with photography. With my husband cheering me on, I left my day job and dove headfirst into this dream.

Since then, I’ve been all in—practicing, learning, growing, investing in my studio, and refining every detail of my work.

I’ve even brought on my best friend and twin sister (Katy’s Custom Keepsakes LLC) as my newborn assistant (and she’s an absolute baby whisperer). She has been training alongside me for months! Having her there has completely changed the flow of my sessions and allowed me to create more intentionally.

The wild part? I used to be terrified of newborn photography. I didn’t think I possessed the skills to do them well enough. I even told myself I would stay far away from them and book only lifestyle, and even those would be minimal. Now, it’s become one of my biggest passions.

So, have you noticed?

🌺 Fun fact, these miniature birth flowers were created from breaking up regular sized flowers. They take a lot of time and attention to detail. The third picture has locks of hair as the stems!
