A little unexpected start to Sunday… 😭💔⛺️

The storms overnight destroyed my tent, and unfortunately, several other vendors are dealing with damage this morning, too. We’re all doing our best to recover, clean up, and get set back up for today!

I have a new tent on the way, but I won’t be ready right at 12 PM. ❤️ Please don’t rush out just yet — give us vendors a little extra time to get back on our feet! We’re working hard to make the most of the last day of Hickory Oktoberfest, and I’ll keep you updated as soon as I’m ready to welcome you back. 🥹

Thank you so much for your patience, understanding, and support. Shopping small means a lot, but your kindness means even more on days like this. 🫶🏼

Welp… the rain has officially won today. ☔️🙃🌧️

After a full day of nonstop rain, we decided to call it a day once vendors were given the option to close early. Huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out and supported us vendors despite the weather! You guys are the real MVPs. 🥹💕

✨ The good news? I’ll be back TOMORROW! The forecast is looking better, and I’d love to see you at Hickory Oktoberfest from 12–5 PM! ☀️

Coming from Hickory Square? Look for the b**r tent near the public bathrooms and the Commacope Stage. I’m set up just to the RIGHT of the b**r tent! 🍻

🌧️ A QUICK WEATHER UPDATE:

The current forecast is calling for quite a bit of rain Saturday into Sunday. Oktoberfest is planned as a rain-or-shine event, but as with any outdoor event, weather conditions can change. If conditions become unsafe for the public or vendors due to things like flooding, high winds, lightning, etc., the event could potentially be shortened or cancelled by event organizers or the city.

If you’re planning to come, Friday or early Saturday may be your best bet before the heavier rain is expected. 🤞🏼

The countdown is over, the NC Blackberry Festival is here! 🎉

I’m so excited to head back to my hometown of Lenoir for one of my favorite weekends of the year. If you’re planning to attend, come shop with me in Downtown Lenoir!
