This is what every step was for! We’re proud to support Crisis Assistance Ministry’s Free Store renovation, helping create a more welcoming shopping experience for our neighbors. Thank you to everyone who made our 10th anniversary Strides for Shelter 5K part of that effort!

A little rain couldn’t dampen the incredible energy at McAlpine Creek Park this weekend! 🌧️🏃‍♀️💨

We are so grateful to our friends at Canopy Housing Foundation for celebrating 10 years of Strides for Shelter and choosing Crisis Assistance Ministry as this year’s race beneficiary.

Every runner, walker, and volunteer who laced up their sneakers helped fund a renovation of our Free Store. This project will help us reimagine the space so local families navigating financial hardship can shop for clothing, shoes, and home essentials with even greater ease, comfort, and dignity.

Thank you to the Canopy Realtor® Association and everyone who braved the weather to step up for our neighbors. You proved that when Charlotte comes together, we can weather any storm!
