We are excited to announce we are currently accepting applications for our Pearls of Culture Mentoring Program for rising 10th-grade girls!

Pearls of Culture is a two-year monthly mentoring program for high school young ladies. Students are matched with female adult mentors who will provide guidance, structure and exposure to help them discover who they are and who they are becoming. During the program, young ladies will build confidence, enjoy the bonds of sisterhood and develop as young leaders to serve their community.

The Queen City Ivy and Pearls Foundation is proud to present the Vicki Foster Charity Golf Classic on Sept. 12, honoring the extraordinary life and legacy of Vicki Foster, who was a member of our Foundation’s board of directors and a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.®, Rho Psi Omega Chapter. Vicki also served with distinction in law enforcement, rising to the rank of Assistant Chief of Police in Charlotte, NC, an achievement reflecting her exceptional leadership.

We are deeply appreciative to have permission from her family to rename our tournament in her honor as we continue to focus on many of the initiatives and causes that were important to Vicki such as strengthening and uplifting families, mentoring women and empowering youth.
