Today we lost one of my favorite humans, my Uncle Rick.
He was everything to our family. Truly all of our dads in one way or another.

Thank you for giving us the kind of childhood people dream about. Slip and slides in the summer, wheelbarrow races across the yard, Christmas light nights packed in the car, camping, fishing, pizza nights, laughter, attention, and an abundance of love.

More than anything, he made every single one of us feel seen. Protected. Important. Deeply loved.

The way he loved our family, and especially his wife Mino, was something sacred to witness. Their bond only grew stronger with time. How blessed are we to have witnessed a love and marriage like theirs.
