A striking and sophisticated interpretation of one of Cartier’s most historically important designs, the Santos-Dumont WSSA0046 transforms the classic Santos silhouette with an exceptional all-black lacquer ex*****on.
The stainless-steel case is accented with deep black lacquer, flowing seamlessly into the black square-pattern dial finished beneath translucent lacquer. Cartier’s signature Roman numerals and sword-shaped hands preserve the unmistakable Santos-Dumont identity, while the blue synthetic spinel cabochon set into the crown provides the perfect contrast.
At only 7.3mm thick, the WSSA0046 has an exceptionally slim profile that allows it to wear elegantly on the wrist despite the presence of its 43.5mm × 31.4mm Large case. Cartier
Inside is Cartier’s mechanical Calibre 430 MC, a manually wound movement with approximately 38 hours of power reserve. Unlike the quartz versions found throughout portions of the Santos-Dumont collection, the WSSA0046 provides the traditional experience of a mechanical Cartier.
