I'm sorry for going AWOL! Quick update for everybody. Last Sunday I was at a show and I slipped off of a tote caught myself by stepping down on the front of my toes and feeling a pop in my calf. After an MRI and finding out I have a BB stuck in my other knee from 20 years ago which is crazy! I got the call today from the doctor that it is a slight tear in my calf muscle. So I will be in a boot for the next at least 3 to 4 weeks and hopefully on the road to recovery! I have a nasty bruise a little bit of tenderness and swelling still but for the most part pretty happy that I don't need to get surgery! I will be at the Kankakee Farmers' Market with the help of a lovely helper doing all the heavy lifting so if you see me sitting down I'm not being lazy it's doctor's orders LOL can't wait to see you all and feel like I'm getting somewhat back to normal! Thanks for the good vibes, i appreciate you all!!

So sad i had to cut today short, i was so excited for this show 💔 about half way through the show the wind really picked up. So i stood on a tote to hook my ratchet strap to the top of the tent to make sure it was secure. As i stepped off i lost balance a bit and stepped suddenly on the front of my foot. I immediate felt a pop in my calf followed by pretty nasty pain. I can't bear weight on that leg so off to the ER i went. Seems to be either a nasty strain or partial tear in the calf muscle. Send me all the healing vibes 😭😭😭😭
