I took art classes and I love making things since grade school. I would see something that I liked and wondered if I could make it myself. I started making different thing for myself. I enjoyed it very much. I was laid off from my job so I started making things for other people. Some of them would ask if I could make them a flower arrangement or wreath. I'll pay you for it. Since I wasn't working
I had time. So in between job hunting and writing resumes, I made those items. One of my cousin's always wanted a new jewelry to go with her new outfit. So I would go out and get the materials that I needed to make it for her. I never thought of making things to sell on a regular basis. I got a full time job and never thought about it again. I still make things for myself. In August 2013 I decided that I would start working on my dream, and was to have my own business. Not really believing that I could it and have a job outside of the home. One of my co-workers told me that I should put my stuff on Etsy. That is where she sold her things. I had never heard of it. So I checked it out and now I have my very own Etsy website.
