Monsieur Pamplemousse

Monsieur Pamplemousse Precious and semi-precious custom designed jewelry. Monsieur Pamplemousse, means Mr. Please enjoy! Contact me for all your jewelry needs: [email protected]

Grapefruit in French, a name given to me after my favorite fruit in French class. I design and make jewelry using precious & semi-precious stones. Either set or wire worked with sterling silver, 14kgf, copper, brass and other alternative materials. I do not have a specific genre or style, I pretty much make jewelry according to whatever inspires me. My inspirations come from looking through histor

y books to staring at masonry work of buildings. Which here in Chicago I have plenty buildings to inspire me, like The Rookery, The Carson's Building on State st., and The Goldblatt's building in Uptown, to name a few.

Caminho de Marlon

Part of the Talismans + Amulets collection—
pieces rooted in symbols of protection, intention, and meaning.

Lately, I’ve been inspired by nature and my orixás.

This collection comes from a moment of change in my own life—of learning to release, to trust, and to begin again.

The serpent embodies that energy: transformation, renewal, and quiet protection.

These pieces reflect my hope of stepping into a new phase, and choosing to move forward—even when the path isn’t fully clear.

Guided by the universe, grounded in intention, trusting the path as it reveals itself.

Choose the one that speaks to you.

Hello everyone,

I’ve been meaning to share this since April 1st, but life and creativity had their own timing.

This month marks 4 years officially at the Fine Arts Building.

And this week, as the building opens its doors for Second Fridays, I would love to invite you all to stop by, say hello, and celebrate this moment with me.

I want to thank the Fine Arts Building for welcoming me into such a historic and creative space. It is truly an honor to be surrounded by so many talented artists.

I also want to thank my fellow artists and friends who helped bring this space to life—those who painted alongside me, shared their art, collaborated on projects, and those whose work I am still in the process of honoring. Your contributions are part of this space, and I am deeply grateful. I look forward to continuing to support and uplift one another.

As I move into this next chapter, my studio is evolving into my ateliê and creative studio—a space where I return to painting, explore fashion, create candles, design floral arrangements, deepen my eye for photography, and continue weaving history into my work while honoring all the cultures that shape me.

Step into a space where all five senses are awakened—where every piece is created with memory, intention, and a deep love for storytelling.

This studio has been built with care and respect for those who came before me. I am simply adding my layer to its rich and ongoing tapestry.

Jewelry inspired by culture and tradition.

Rooted in the spirit of Día de los Mu***os, these pieces pay homage to the vibrant legend of the Cempasúchil, the marigold said to guide the souls of our loved ones back home with its golden light and scent.

The intricate calavera—or sugar skull—reminds us to celebrate life, honor memory, and cherish the beauty of those who came before us.

A tribute to love that transcends time, culture, and spirit.

Each piece tells a story — rooted in protection, light, and transformation.
Every Hamsa pendant features a crystal Evil Eye in the center of the palm — a timeless symbol of intuition and protection.

From left to right:
Labradorite beads in both faceted and smooth cuts, carrying a hand-carved labradorite Hamsa, accented with pink topaz and green chalcedony — to attract insight, good energy, and luck.

Moonstone in shades from peach to gray, featuring a Hamsa carved from peach moonstone, accented with blue topaz and labradorite — for intuition, harmony, and emotional balance.

Botswana agate, rich in natural patterns, with an agate Hamsa accented with aquamarine and yellow chalcedony — to invite clarity, calm, and optimism.

Part of our Talismans + Amulets Collection, each necklace is handmade with intention — meant to protect, empower, and bring light to your path.
We tell stories through our creations and hope that one of them resonates with yours.

See them tomorrow during our open house, part of the Fine Arts Building’s Second Friday,
from 5–9 PM.

It took five years to find the right stones.
Not because I couldn’t make it sooner, but because the story wasn’t ready to be told.

Turquoise and labradorite, two stones rich with legend.
In the Native cultures of the Southwest, turquoise carries the spirit of protection and wisdom.
Among the Inuit, labradorite is said to hold the northern lights—fragments of the sky shimmering with transformation and hope.

Set in sterling silver with touches of gold, this necklace became a meeting of worlds: earth and sky, patience and creation.

This is my process.
A blend of art, culture, and anthropology.
Every piece begins with a story, a belief, a spark from somewhere in the world.
I wait for the stones to find me, because when they do, they tell me exactly what they were meant to become.
