It took me a whole year to track down the right beads to make the Composition Swing Earrings in Cobalt, but I think it was worth it!
The original color for this design was Mocha and I made them with beads I already had in the studio. It’s always a challenge to add new colors in an existing design, but I don’t think I would enjoy it as much if it was easy 😉

I’ve been tinkering around with new composition necklaces for the last few months and finally have them figured out. All of the previous composition necklaces have sold out except for one (simply because I can make lots of them- it’s actually the most popular one). I hadn’t intended to make them monochromatic, but that’s how it worked out. I can’t even explain my process of designing these- it’s about finding the right balance of color, shape, texture, and size. I like to use both stones and glass. It’s very organic and can’t be rushed or forced. I just know when I’ve got it.

These little mother of pearl fish charm necklaces were my best sellers last summer and it looks like they’re going to be just as popular this year. I added new colors for the holidays and I’m thinking about another soon 🤔

This Spring’s charm necklace design has been the daintiest one I’ve made so far. For the last several years, I’ve been making one or two new charm necklace designs a year as a nod to how my whole business started 21 years ago.

This one has a new feature- the charm in the center isn’t fixed in place, it can slide along the chain in between the other two charms to create movement and asymmetry.
