Our prices are usually 25-50% discounted from the prices you would pay retail shops or at the mall. We are active member of the 51st business district committee and the Bronzeville Quad Communities group. We are committed to this neighborhood and it's residents. We support many of the local charities and churches in their efforts to provide programs for the children and for the community. In 1980, the famous Blues Brother's mural was painted on our building and the "Shake a Tail Feather" scene was filmed out front of the store. The movie producers paid to alter our sign to read "Ray's Music Exchange". In 2001, our family had a local artist touch up the mural to remove any graffiti and keep the historical value. We have a lot of fun blues Brother's memorabilia and posters in the store for viewing. Unfortunately the building burned down in 2020 so the mural is no longer there.
