Have you heard of a ‘roval’ diamond?? I hadn’t until I found this little cutie for John & Kelly! It’s basically a made up name, but it so adorably describes a very rounded oval. To make this ring even more interesting, both John & Kelly created their own mood-boards for me to design from. It was a fun challenge to merge their two styles into one and I’m loving the results. Congratulations John & Kelly on your engagement!

Congratulations are in order for Sandra & Marco who were engaged in Rome a few months ago! *sigh* what a dream 😌 I worked with Marco to customize one of our TYTIN collection pieces, the Aurora. We sourced an emerald cut diamond and added in some color with dark teal sapphires, one of Sandra’s favorite colors.

I’ve tried to start this post a million different ways, and honestly, I’m still not sure what to say. So I’ll just say this.

I’ve been channeling my anger into the only way I know how. The result is this charm inspired by a phrase I kept repeating to myself: “The only ice I wanna see are diamonds. The other kind can gtfo.” I guess this is my attempt to turn something heavy and ugly into something meaningful.

At TYTIN, we stand for love, tolerance, respect, compassion, and basic human kindness. I don’t care about political affiliation or religious beliefs; hate and violence are never acceptable.

These charms will be made in sterling silver and designed to slide onto a chain you already own. They’ll be $65, and proceeds will be donated to the National Immigrant Justice Center (). If this project resonates with you, let me know and I can add you to the preorder list. An online listing is coming soon, and the prototype is already underway. The last photo is included to show scale; the size was modeled after my grandmother’s pendant.

This is geometric goodness at its finest! I had such a fun time designing this wedding set for Sam. He flew all the way from Boston with a vision and to hand select this duo of gems. Just gonna leave these gorgeous photos of Tara & Damon here and bow down to them in all their glory! They were married back in October with a customized salt & pepper diamond version of our Vulcan ring and I can’t get over how beautiful their wedding looked 😍

It’s giving me the warm feelings I need right now after battling a cold for over a week and getting ready to leave for holiday travel. Stay cozy and safe travels to anyone traveling this holiday season!
