The best part of small business ownership is the friendships made along the way. It has been my great honor to have carried Laura Zindel’s nature inspired ceramics for more than twenty years. On Friday, I accepted our final order from her.
After twenty-five years in hand crafted business, Laura has made the difficult decision to close her studio. I cried as I selected pieces for this last run, choosing items that we’ve never stocked at the shop, given their size. With the exception of mugs and tumblers, you can find our final collection online. If you are hoping to be able to gift just one more mug, or snag a platter for yourself, I encourage you to come on over this week. We’re currently stocked full.
To our dear Laura Zindel, I thank you endlessly for gracing Virtu’s shelves with your beautifully functional wares. You helped build our core collections and sent folks to us along the way, and I literally wouldn’t be Virtu without you. I’ve loved working with you every single second that I had the chance.
