Pearson Handcrafted Jewelry & Art Welcome to our hand-crafted mineral creations page, the results of the fun we have finding, collecting, cutting, polishing, and creating wearable rock art.

We are a Northern California rockhounding family. For many years, everywhere we went, we'd come home with pockets and bags full of rocks, storing them in bags and boxes. We have graduated to five-gallon buckets loaded with Mother Earth's treasures and a collection of lapidary equipment and silversmithing tools. Our passion for the beauty of crystals and minerals continues to expand as we learn new skills and gain knowledge of the properties of these beauties. Stop by often to see where we've been rockhounding and the treasures we've collected. The journey continues as we craft them into wearable and functional art. It's saw night! I'm going to need a chiropractor after this! 🤣 Jamming to .38 Special and Journey while cutting three types of leaves. Oregon Red Maple pictured, local oak leaves are in the polisher, and ginko in brass are next.

I committed to my first vendor fair in 3 years. Can't believe it's been that long. I'll be sharing a booth with a friend on October 25 at the Paradise Gem and Mineral Club's Rocktober popup. More info to come.

Rock and Gem Show show and tell time!

My daughter and I went to the Reno Nevada show and brought home a few treasures. Then last weekend, my husband and I and some friends attended the Anderson Show.

I snagged a cool shaped blue and gold tiger's eye pillar, and a small moss agate pillar with a big crystal pocket on the side. My daughter found an amazing large moss agate pillar with druzy pockets.

We were on the hunt for crushed opal I could use for the inlay rings you saw a preview of earlier, and we couldn't resist a few rough chunks to play with.

In Anderson, we got to see our friend Jim Davidge, the Opal Guy, and I scored some beautiful Boulder opal, polished and rough.

Hubby found his Christmas present, that he is too excited about to wait, so it's already on the mantle. It's an amazing Bumblebee Jasper slab.

Progress on the blossom setting for the prasiolite stone. I forgot to put on my Maker's Mark, so we'll have to figure that out. Soldering something on now could go sideways, and I'm really happy with how this looks right now. 😬
