This page is to share what goes into the making of my jewelry. The world of glass bead making is full of geeky details, funny mistakes and happy accidents. I invite you to share the adventures of my journey with me. My jewelry is crafted from handmade lampwork glass beads that I make in my studio one bead at a time. I melt rods of soda lime glass from Italy, Germany, the U.S. and China using a pro

pane torch and then anneal the beads at high heat in a digitally controlled kiln to ensure maximum durability. I assemble the beads into jewelry with sterling silver. I am an architect and worked for many years in that profession before I fell in love with making glass beads and jewelry. My favorite beads are influenced by geometric patterns and inspired by retro designs and colors from the 1950's. My work is constantly evolving as I challenge myself to introduce new collections every year. I live in Cincinnati Ohio with my husband, son and cat. I joke that playing with fire is my favorite part of the day.
