My first love, food, has translated into a business, successful for 2+ years with good support from the community. My memories of growing up in Chennai is nothing without shopping in T.Nagar & Pondy Bazaar. It’s an action filled hot spot with a myriad of vendors, especially fashio
n jewelry, competing for attention. A T.Nagar visit wouldn’t complete without a pit stop at every jewelry vendor. Back then Globus and Naidu Hall were famous for fashion jewelry. This place would scream with latest, stylish, trendy jewelry products and I gave a hard time to my dad as I gawked at the pieces for hours. I always wore a dozen oxidized bangles or Kada, matching earrings with every Indian outfit. Always getting adoration for the jewelry, I quickly turned into a jewelry consultant (this wasn’t even a known word back then) for my colleagues, their kids, my own family, and the list goes on...
My interest in jewelry spiked up this summer; constantly looking at beautiful pieces and imagining my daughter in some of them one day. Slowly but surely my love for it has slowly brewed and taken it’s shape in the form of MinMiinii. I’m excited and hopeful to see where this journey leads to with all your support. This is your store!
