🇺🇸 Happy Birthday, America! 🇺🇸

As we celebrate Independence Day, we ask everyone in Clifton to help keep our community safe.

Our fields, pastures, crops, and surrounding vegetation are extremely dry, and the fire danger is very high. It only takes one spark to start a fire that could threaten homes, livestock, crops, and our community.

Please use wisdom and caution this holiday weekend.

A reminder of Idaho’s fireworks laws:

✅ Permitted (“Safe and Sane”) Fireworks
These fireworks stay close to the ground and may not travel outside a 15-foot diameter or send sparks higher than 20 feet.
Examples include:
• Sparklers
• Fountains and cone fountains
• Ground spinners
• Wheels
• Whistles
• Smoke devices
• Snakes

❌ Illegal Fireworks
Fireworks that leave the ground, explode, or travel beyond the legal limits are prohibited.
These include:
• Bottle rockets
• Roman candles
• Firecrackers
• Mortar shells
• Skyrockets
• Missiles

🚫 A reminder that NO fireworks of any kind are allowed at Clifton City Park.

Let’s all do our part to protect our homes, our neighbors, our crops, our livestock, and the beautiful place we call home.

Have a fun, safe, and responsible Fourth of July! 🇺🇸
