Once upon a time, I made this gorgeous raw Labradorite ring for a customer. Despite my warnings, she wore this ring 24/7 for years. Never taking it off. Eventually the stone weakened (as I had warned) and broke. She glued the piece back into its place. It didn’t last very long and the glued piece fell out never to be seen again. She loved the band however and wanted me to salvage it. So I cut the setting off the top, melted it down, hammered it out and used it to mend the band. What do you think?
