Today is a very high pain day for me. I have so much to do but have reinjured my hamstring 2x in the past few weeks by slipping on a wet floor and falling into the splits essentially. Never knew I could do it and never wanna do it again. Pretty positive I've partially torn my hamstring in both incidents. Currently in the thick of it (aka the 1st 72hrs. It's been less than 24hrs since my 2nd slip) and it HURTS. I've been stuck in bed using our Knot Today H**p Salve and ice. I see my pain specialist in 2 wks and he is well versed in the complexity of my dynamic disability. I've not previously had any injuries to either hamstring or anything at that level. Over the past few years I've chronically torn my foot and ankle ligaments and had tendon ruptures bilaterally. I've also had anterior and posterior labrum tears that took for-ev-er to heal and still causes issues. It also brings up feelings of shame when I have to sit my ass down, because my ADHD brain doesn't get my body can't do it all 🫠
This is Honey Brown, last month we had a scare with him having a bladder infection and 105° fever that led to an emergency vet visit. Happy to say he's back to himself and we will be celebrating his gotcha day in a few weeks. Hims such a good and handsome boy! 🤩
