Jewelry Modification!!💍🛠

A customer brought in a ring that had a broken shank (bottom). She was unsure if she wanted to invest the money into repairing it as she liked the ring but didn't love wearing it.

We chatted and the idea surfaced to cut off the entire ring shank, leaving just the gemstone cluster and soldering a chain to either side of the cluster for a cool one-of-a-kind necklace!

She was excited and loved this idea! We helped her pick out a very tough cable link chain and also the perfect length she'd enjoy wearing.

The finished necklace turned out wonderful and is a great new way for her to enjoy this piece that she hadn't been entirely loving as a ring! 🥰

Jewelry Journey 💚💫

A customer came to us wanting to update a very special ring she'd inherited from her late mother.

The ring had been a gift to her mom many years ago when she and her brother weren't quite sure what to get their mom for Christmas. They presented their mom with a beautiful yellow gold family ring set with 4 birthstones representing each of her children (her daughter, son-in-law, son and daughter-in-law).

Now that the ring had been passed down, she wanted to keep her mom's ring mounting but change the stones. We discussed different stone options...she originally thought she may like pearls but then asked about emeralds!

We went to work removing and installing 4 new heads, setting 4 beautiful green emeralds that were slightly tapered in size to accentuate the ring design. And we refinished the metal including the fun texture in the center!

Her ring turned out stunning and is a special keepsake that she updated to reflect her own style but still makes her think of her sweet mother!
