I’ve been feeling especially grateful this week. ❤️

Two dear friends recently purchased some of my upcycled clothing, and I can’t tell you how much that kind of support means to a small business owner. Every purchase, share, comment, and word-of-mouth recommendation helps me continue creating and doing what I love.

Alrighty…a few of my recent upcycles. I’m getting geared up for the first Woodland Park Arts and Crafts Festival Friday from 8-1pm. Saturday I’ll be at the Pearl Devere Bed Race in Cripple Creek from 10-6! I hope to see some familiar faces!

I’m working on building a website! In the meantime, if you see something you like, let me know! I’d also be more than willing to create something unique for you! Out of something you already own, or made with a particular theme, color, or size😌

My mom took some old shirts I couldn’t bring myself to part with and transformed them into these one-of-a-kind flannels. Every piece is handmade, completely unique, and designed to give old clothing a new life.

This beautiful young woman was kind enough to let me take her picture and share it. Tell me these aren’t the cutest pants ever! They look absolutely amazing on her.

Here’s the funny part: I hand-dye all of my clothing, and I was convinced I had dyed these pants too pink. In fact, I went to Edenology today planning to pull them from my rack and re-dye them a different color.

Instead, I walked in and found their new owner wearing them! She had already purchased them, and I didn’t even know it. ❤️ Apparently, they were perfect just as they were.

To make the day even more special, she told me she has clothing handmade for her in Afghanistan that she’d like me to recreate into something new and meaningful. I couldn’t be more honored.

I met so many wonderful people today, and the special orders are beginning! It was one of those days that reminded me why I love creating.

If you’d like to see my clothing, I hung two more pairs today. You can find them upstairs at Edenology, located at 2611 W. Colorado Ave.

And a special thank you to Andria for encouraging me to display my clothing and for helping me create tags that made my collection feel cohesive and professional. Your support means more than you know. ❤️

What I love most about this story is the lesson: sometimes the pieces we’re second-guessing are the very ones someone else falls in love with. 💕
