Loud Beads is heading to the 40th annual The Lauraville Fair this Saturday, Sept 26 from 11-5! 🎉 We’re bringing the Charm Bar, and this is where the fun happens. Pick your chain, browse through a rainbow of charms, and mix them in a way that means something to YOU. Nobody else will have the same necklace, and that’s the whole point!

Today was such a memorable experience! My mom and I went to hear Jodi Picoult discuss her newest book as well as answer some very interesting questions. Then we met her afterwards!!

I gifted Jodi Picoult a Loud Beads | Julie original that echos the colors from the cover of her new book. 🥰 And then she emailed me a thank you! I literally screamed with joy when I saw her name pop up in my email! 🤩

Jodi Picoult has been my favorite author since college when I read My Sister’s Keeper. So getting to meet her and share a little piece of my own creativity with her made this experience even more special. 🥹

Can’t wait to read Hollow Bones!

There’s something incredibly special about watching someone you care about turn a dream into reality.

Today I finally got to walk through the doors of Flour Fable Baking Co. , and I was hit with so many emotions!

I’ve had the privilege of watching Sam’s small business journey unfold. From baking out of her home as a cottage baker, to outgrowing her own kitchen, to taking the leap of opening her very own storefront! And today, standing inside the space she created, I just felt so incredibly proud of her! 🥹

Every little detail felt exactly like I thought Flour Fable would feel. It was cozy, beautiful, welcoming, and so thoughtfully done. You could see just how much love, work, creativity, and courage went into making this dream happen.

And maybe being a small business owner myself makes moments like this hit a little differently. I know how much of your heart you pour into something you’re building. Getting to watch someone I care about reach a milestone this BIG is just so freaking exciting!!! 🤩

Obviously I left with a box of her delicious cookies (because I’ve been happily buying her desserts for years 🤤) and some stickers from local artists Erin Dayhaw | Quirky Goods with Sarcasm and shannon ho | MD illustrator + calligrapher , who I have adored for years! 🤗

Sam- I am SO proud of you and everything you’ve created. What a ride it has been watching your business grow!

I’ll be cheering you on, buying cookies, and supporting you until the end of time. 🥰🍪✨
