I love when I get to this stage of my paintings. It never gets old for me. So satisfying to see them framed and hanging.

I’m competing with no one, but myself. Every painting is building my portfolio and my visual and brush to canvas strength. I would love to be on this actual beach painting this scene with a non alcoholic Mai tai.

I took the Source photo at Merrimans in Maui. We love to go eat there every time we travel to Maui. Gotta search my photo library for another photo of Hawaii. Mahalo for checking out my post. ✌🏼👩🏻‍🎨🐬🌴

A little Hawaii sunshine on my easel! 🌴🌅 This is a work in progress and the first painting in my new Hawaii series.

I’m bringing together a glowing sky, ocean blues, and palms framing a path to the water. There’s still more painting to do, but I’m enjoying watching this island scene come to life. 💙

Inspire creativity in your everyday living. I hate leaving leftover oil paint on the pallet.
