🚂🎉 This Year's Appomattox Railroad Festival Is Going to Be So Much Fun! 🎉🚂
🚂 New This Year: Kids Central at Abbitt Park:
Kids Central is where kids can enjoy FREE arcade games, watch miniature trains, and more fun activities just off Main Street at Abbitt Park.
🍔 New This Year: Two Food Courts!
Come hungry! We've expanded our food offerings with TWO Food Courts, located in the Courthouse Parking Lot and the Library Parking Lot. They'll be serving up delicious festival favorites all weekend long, beginning Friday at noon.
🎶 New This Year: Music on Main Street
The Main Street Train Depot stage will feature live entertainment throughout the weekend. Enjoy performances by Deeply Rooted, Southern Station, Keith McFadden, Shana Canada, and New Beginnings Gospel Singers while exploring downtown Appomattox.
🎡 The Carnival Returns!
This festival favorite opens Friday at 5:00 PM in Courtland Festival Park and continues throughout the weekend during festival hours with rides and fun for all ages.
🎶 Live Music All Weekend Long:
From Soul Expressions on Friday night to The Bogeys, Out of Spite, and then Southland Band on Saturday evening, plus performances on both the Courtland Festival Park Stage and the Main Street Train Depot Stage, you'll find great entertainment throughout the weekend.
🚗 Don't Miss the Festival Parades!
The annual Festival Parade rolls through Court and Main Streets on Saturday at 10:00 AM. Then return on Sunday for the beloved Teddy Bear Parade at 2:00 PM.
🎆 Saturday Night Fireworks:
Cap off your Saturday with an incredible fireworks display at Appomattox County High School beginning at 9:00 PM.
⛪ Sunday Highlights:
Join us for the Community Worship Service at Courtland Festival Park, enjoy the Car Show at Memorial Methodist Church off Court Street, take one more ride on the carnival, and soak up the final day of festival fun.
With over 180 artisans, crafters, vendors, exhibitors, delicious food vendors, and special attractions, there's something for everyone at the Appomattox Railroad Festival.
