I’ve been struggling with my creativity lately. I think as artists especially those in highly saturated markets we try to focus on making what’s “trending”. That just doesn’t work for me. I spend hours and days in my craft room sometimes working on just one pair of earrings, but it’s therapeutic for me. However, when I try to create jewelry inspired by what’s trending I don’t get dopamine like I do when I make pieces I love. If I spend too long trying to create what I think will sell, I end feeling blocked altogether. So it may be winter, but I’m still going to make flowers because they bring me joy. If you dislike winter as much as I do, these are for you 💗
