Leah & Rip just moved into a lovely home here in San Diego.
A cross wall was first on their agenda. It's beautiful and, of course, many of them are from my store!

I'm thankful to have so many good friends, to live in San Diego, and to sing in the San Diego Chorus!

It seems so strange not to drive to Seaport Village on a regular basis! 16 stores closed last month due to decreasing customer traffic and increasing expenses. After 18 years with Silver Crossing and 16 years at my parents' store, Trails West, I never thought it would end like this. Between the Port & TRC, what a mess!

The last month was very strenuous - packing up the store and warehouse, moving it all to storage and my home, selling fixtures, manager on vacation (planned long ago), staff finding new jobs, turning off utilities, etc.

I could not have gotten it all done without the help of some very good friends I sing with in the San Diego Chorus. Thank you so much - Debra, Kim, Sharee, Vivian, Jennifer & Chris F, Sally, Chris H & my very strong friends - Will & Tommy & Chris. You are all AWESOME!
