70 YEARS AGO TODAY… 💎

On September 29, 1956, Emil and Marie Habeeb opened the doors to Habeeb’s Jewelers with little more than a dream, an incredible work ethic, and the determination to build something that would last.

They couldn’t have known then what those doors would come to represent.

For 70 years, generations of families have walked through them to celebrate engagements, weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, milestones, and some of life’s most meaningful moments.

What Emil and Marie built was more than a jewelry store. They built a legacy—one founded on hard work, trust, integrity, family, and treating every customer like a friend.

Seventy years later, their name is still above the door. Their values are still at the heart of everything we do. And the dream they started in 1956 continues through every person who walks into Habeeb’s today.

To our family, our friends, our customers, and the generations of Corpus Christi who have supported us along the way: thank you for being part of our story.

While getting everything ready for our 70th anniversary party, I came across this picture of my grandparents that I pasted together with construction paper 😆 and had to share it. So many people in our community knew and loved them so much, and seeing this photo brought back so many wonderful memories.

They were such a big part of what made Habeeb’s what it is today, and I know there are many of you who have your own amazing memories of them too. 💛
