Fabric becomes color, texture, dimension—and sometimes even a landscape—in the hands of September Featured Artist Kori Deller.

Kori describes one of her favorite approaches to fiber art as “painting with fabric.” Rather than working with paint and canvas, she layers color, pattern, stitching, and texture to bring an image to life.

Her journey into fiber art began years ago with weaving and batik, eventually leading her back to quilting and the dimensional work she creates today.
