Crownpoint Navajo Rug Auction

Crownpoint Navajo Rug Auction We are the main rug auction and craft sale on the Navajo Reservation. You will be astounded at the jewelry, pottery, beadwork, and other items.

Before and during the auction, a truly large number of Native American crafts people have their wares on sale. Many pieces of jewelry, for example, are on sale for $5. You would have to pay two or three times more to purchase the same items elsewhere.

NTU has been working with the Crownpoint community in developing a network of trails within our town, and we've been collecting feedback on where people have traversed. We've attended chapter meetings, the elder's center, and the Eastern Navajo Fair to collect input, and the below map shows where people have walked and where they suggest we avoid trails. What do you think?

We'd like to next host focus groups of people who'd like to provide input on the trail's development.

If you'd like to participate in these focus groups, please contact Daniel Vandever at [email protected].
