This month, we’re proud to feature our Siouxland Woman Cover Woman, Ruby Sebastian Benitez.

Ruby’s story is one of transformation, perseverance, and unwavering determination. From overcoming addiction and personal struggles to becoming a business leader, life coach, mentor, and advocate for others, she has turned life’s hardest moments into a foundation for growth.

This month's cover is especially meaningful as Ruby shares the spotlight with her father, Jose Sebastian, who is featured on the cover of Siouxland Sir Magazine. Together, this father-daughter duo is representing their family's journey on the covers of Siouxland Woman and Siouxland SIR.

Many throughout Siouxland know Ruby and Jose through J&V Landscaping and Housekeeping, but their impact extends far beyond one business. Ruby's path has taken her through family ventures including Ruby's Tacos, while also building her own coaching business, All the Way Up, where she helps others navigate life's challenges and discover their potential.

Whether she's mentoring clients, managing operations, running with the Jackson Street Brewery run club, or supporting her family and community, Ruby leads with authenticity, resilience, and heart.

Her story is a powerful reminder that where you start does not determine where you finish. Through faith, family, hard work, and a commitment to personal growth, Ruby continues to inspire others to keep moving forward.
