I have been creating unique jewelry for about 12 years and started my business as a side line to my day job back in 2011 but I have been dabbling in jewelry making since I was a small child. I developed an appreciation of nature and the beauty it offers at an early age growing up on the front range of the Rocky Mountains near Denver, CO. I love incorporating natural gemstones and I often use natural found objects in many of my cast pieces.

Many pieces are cast from organic objects she finds in nature, and she tries to capture these elements so they can be worn as adornment. She casts her natural objects using metal clay, while also utilizing traditional fabrication techniques to create her jewelry.⁠

Her pieces are primarily crafted out of sterling silver, bronze and 14K gold-fill with many using natural gemstones. She makes each individual piece by hand. Valerie Morgan Designs includes both men's and women's styles and focuses on originality and quality in each piece.⁠

Our Story

Formally trained in Interior Design at the University of North Texas, I began working at a boutique in Denton, TX during college where I discovered a fascination with jewelry making. I soaked up as much knowledge as possible from the wonderful artists I worked for and have continued my education in jewelry fabrication ever since. I have an appreciation for the creative process involved in designing and fabricating, and enjoy learning new methods to create unique, wearable pieces.
