Hi Facebook friends and family. This is a personal post from Allyson.
I have recently experienced some health challenges that have left me with limited mobility. I can get around slowly at the moment with a wheelchair and a walker.
Though my staff and I did our very best to reimagine the business of Beading Dreams post pandemic, that chapter has officially closed. I find myself in need of work and wanted to see if anyone in the Beading Dreams community had a need for someone with my skills.
I am looking for work that is primarily or exclusively remote. I am optimistic that I will be able to transition to hybrid soon, but for the moment I am still getting a handle on the transportation situation.
I have a Bachelors degree and good written and verbal communication skills. I also have over 20 years of customer service experience in a retail setting, ten of which I gained while owning and operating my own business.
It is important to note that I am currently experiencing health related cognitive issues. A job where I can take and reference notes is going to be a better fit for now than something that requires a lot of thinking on my feet.
I am posting here because I have faith in the power of community. Beading Dreams was never just a bead shop. It was a place where folks could come together to laugh, cry, celebrate and create. When hard times come calling, community is where we find our strength.
So, long story short, If anyone knows of any employment opportunities that might work for me, I would be eternally grateful if you could throw them my way?
