I have always loved making jewelry and my love of natural gemstones caused me to buy more unique beads and components than I could ever really use. This shop was created to share my love of the natural world and my love of amazing craftsmanship with others. In this shop you will find beautiful gemstone beads, Specialty silver beads and components from all over the world, and other unique component

s such as brocade ribbon, batik ribbon, and high quality bronze components. Some of these are for sale alone and some of this has been made into unique jewelry. As an avid traveller, what I have learned is that inspiration can come from many different aesthetics; old, modern, rustic, or minimalist. I try to select items that I am truly in love with, Items that I would actually wear myself. Sometimes these items have a magical tactile quality, sometimes it's the distinct color, and sometimes I have no explanation as to why I am drawn to it at all. I love collecting these different beads and components - I often hold on to them for years, simply looking and admiring. Etsy is this amazing community where I am allowed to be all of the things that I want to be instead of just one thing. I am a lover of the earth and the amazing things that she produces for us to survive and for us to enjoy. I am a lover of beads and how the hands of humans can manipulate what the earth gives us. I am a lover of jewelry which is an outward expression of my joy and passion for the natural world. I truly hope that you will find something to love in my shop, something that you can hold on to and admire until it is ready to be made into a beautiful piece of jewelry or a piece that you can wear for years to come. Hello, I’m Leann! I wanted to take a minute to reintroduce myself as it has been a long time since I’ve posted jewelry that I make or been active on here, but there is a reason. I spent the last 14 months working on@my Master’s Degree from SMU in Educational Policy and Leadership! I turned in my final paper yesterday which means I am officially 100% complete! Just waiting for final grades to post.

I am a full time teacher, I have a 7 year old, soon to be 8, and I’m married to an amazing person that supports me through all of my endeavors whether it be making jewelry, doing lighting designs for theatre productions, teaching, and getting my M.Ed.

I’m excited to have freed up some time and to get back to my bench. I hope you’re still with me and I look forward to sharing all my creations. If you’ve read this far, THANK You!!! 🙏 🙂

Clay. Metal. Stone. My new pieces have been updated on my website 🌿🌷🪲🌷🌿 Porcelain clay pieces handmade by me are first rolled out, textured, smoothed, and fired in the kiln at approximately 1800 degrees. When they come out they are ready for glaze application. I work purposefully to create layered combinations that ultimately look like a watercolor painting and fire them again to approximately 2150 degrees. I then design these components into jewelry with natural gemstones from my ever growing collection and set them in sterling silver using traditional metal smithing techniques. I present to you a collection with earthly elements clay, metal, and gemstones featuring botanical themes which if you’ve been with me for a while you know is my thing. 🌿🌷🪲🌷🌿 I hope you can check it out if you have time.
