I don’t usually share political things on my business page. I try to keep this space light, creative, and focused on the joy behind small business work.
But today felt different. One of my clients shared something deeply heartbreaking—her husband was taken by ICE. These aren’t just headlines or debates. These are real families, real fear, and real pain.
I believe there are moments when silence doesn’t feel right. This is one of them. We can hold space for small business wins and for humanity at the same time.
This first big order of the year came during a heavy moment, and it reminded me how powerful community support truly is. Thank you for being here, for listening, and for leading with compassion 🤍

This season is full of orders, deadlines, and the pressure to make everything perfect as a small business owner… but nothing pulls me back to what truly matters like walking out to pick up my son from school.

Some days I feel stretched thin — juggling holiday prep, packing orders, late nights, early mornings — but then I see their little smile and remember exactly why I’m doing all of this. The work is heavy, the days get overwhelming, but showing up for him will always be the most important part of my day.

To everyone supporting my small shop this season: thank you. You’re helping me chase my dreams while still being present for the moments that make life sweet. 💗🎄
