When Rolex introduced the Oyster Perpetual Land-Dweller at Watches and Wonders last year, it immediately sparked conversation. New case architecture, integrated bracelet design, a fresh dial ex*****on, and one of the brand’s most technically interesting modern movements. It did not feel like a small update. There is something about the Timex T80 that just works. It taps into that original digital appeal without feeling like a novelty piece.

We spent most of our time with the clear T80, and it stands out in a way that photos don’t fully capture. Seeing the module through the case gives it real character, and the display stays sharp and readable in everyday light. It feels intentional, not playful for the sake of it.
