Want to help in the current health crisis? Healthcare workers are running out of protective gear. Hospitals in hard hit areas like Washington are already reaching out for DIY types in the community to make face masks. Your community, your state, another state, even another country might be able to save more lives with the help of the masks you make and provide.

There are a number of good videos and patterns out there. One of the best is at www.fabricpatch.net who also have a kit of the items other than fabric you need to make them. Nice and simple patterns and videos are out there from JoAnn’s and others.
