A friendly reminder: leave your jewelry out of the chlorinated water. Chlorine can chemically react with certain metals, particularly gold alloys, causing pitting and weakening of the metal over time. That damage can make prongs and settings more brittle, increasing the risk of cracks, loose stones, or even breakage. We've seen it before.
Before diving in, take a moment to remove your rings, bracelets, and necklaces. Your jewelry will thank you for it!
