If you're looking for healthy, vigorous and ready to plant tomatoes, I will be delivering to Montgomery tomorrow in the Dalraida area at 9:30 a.m. I have the following tomatoes for $5 each: Abe Lincoln, Celebrity, Cherokee Purple, Georgia Streak, German Johnson, Hartman's Yellow Gooseberry (cherry), Juliet (roma/cherry), Mortgage Lifter, Pantano Romanesco, Paul Robeson, Principe Borghese (roma/cherry), Red Deuce. Thornburg's Terra-Cotta, Tommy Toe (small cherry) and Turkey Creek. These are all big beefsteak tomatoes unless otherwise indicated. I also have the following for $5 each: Chives, Lemon Balm, Sage, Turmeric and White Yarrow. A crown of Comfrey is $20. I can email or PM you our 2025 Plant List with descriptions. Order by PM before 6:30 p.m. and I'll deliver tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. Please bring a box or boxes for your plants! I take cash and CashApp.

Do you still need some last-minute items to make Easter complete for someone special? These crochet bunnies and hen with chicks are hand-made right here in Deatsville, Alabama and are one-of-a-kind. Bunnies are $12 each. The Tan Hen with 3 Chicks in a Basket is $38.50. If you just want to give that special person $$$, consider purchasing one of the Vintage Easter Treasure Eggs for $3.50. All you have to do is open it up and put the folded money in.

I've got plants and even more plants! Most are vigorous tomato plants ready to go in the ground asap but I've also got some herbs and other things. I'm selling these big tomatoes and most herbs for $5. Compared to the big home and farm stores this is a steal! Stop by the farm and get some anytime from 10 am to 6 pm, just let me know you're coming!

We have our Spring Fling tomorrow at Joy of Eden from 12-4 p.m. The kids Easter Egg Hunt will start at 1pm. There will be prizes for finding those special eggs and most eggs as well as goodie bags for the kids. For teenagers and adults, there is a great raffle and a limited number of goodie bags. The shop will be open with roll-back prices and a new look. You can enjoy samples of our chevre (goat cheese), marinated feta and Cowboy Candy (candied jalapenos) and enjoy a glass of wine or sparkling water. As always, the goats, cows, chickens and dogs (and maybe some barn cats) are the highlight. I promise a great day and perfect weather! PM me for directions or with questions!

If you haven't started Christmas shopping or if you just can't find something for those hard to buy for people, Joy of Eden is open from 12:30 - 4:30pm today and by appointment tomorrow from 12:30 - 3:30pm. Joy of Eden has something for everyone - goat milk soap for men and women, bath bombs, sugar scrub, lotion' jams and jellies and lots of jewelry at reduced prices. For the guys and outdoorsy women, we have paracord bracelets, monkey fists, keychains, etc. as well as Morakniv and Buck knives and the best flashlight we've ever owned at a very reasonable price. Our Simmer Pots in a Jar have sold like hot cakes and are only $7.50. Come see us today!

Thank you to everyone who came to Joy of Eden today to do some shopping, sample some good cheese and see the goats, cows and chickens! Got to see so many old friends and made a lot of new. I'll have the shop open for last minute shoppers next Sat 12:30 to 4:30.

Just in time for our Christmas celebration on Sunday from 12:30 - 4:30 and Christmas giving, we are very well stocked in all of the all-natural Sugar Scrub fragrances (Peppermint, Stress Relief, Pink Grapefruit and Spearmint) as well as the West African Shea Butter. Are you dried out and cracking from the cold? Combine these two and they will heal about anything - even this old farmer and soap maker's hands!

Come see us at Joy of Eden this coming up Sunday, December 15th, from 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm. for a great shopping experience. We will sample our chevre (goat cheese), marinated feta, and cowboy and cowgirl candy. Have a glass of wine or sparkling water. Our prices are the same as 2020 and I'll pay the tax. Our goats, cows, chickens and Harry Potter (the resident livestock guard dog) would love to see you! We are conveniently located at County Road 39 in Deatsville (5 minutes from the Millbrook Wal-mart). Look for the inflatable goats in pajamas on the front fence! Your friends and family are welcome! HUGE red fox (as big as a coyote) was looking for a nice chicken meal on the hill this morning. Between the cows' stampede and Harry Potter, my Anatolian LGD, the fox decided to move on. If you are in my area and have chickens, be on the lookout. This fox could have hauled off one of my huge Black Australorp c***s with ease.
