I was ask to do a piece for a girl going off to college from her show calf. He held a special place in her heart. I felt honored to be ask to do this for her. So this being said it was a surprise for her. As we worked on ideas of what to do and we moved forward with the piece it came to life and turned out beautiful. But the fun part for me was I had never worked with hair from a show steer. All I can say is hair is hair and this hair had more curl than a horses tail. We ended up doing a wristlet for her. It was my pleasure to work with her mom to bring this piece to life and to know she loved it. Thank you so much for entrusting me to do this for you. I loved every minute getting to pull this together before time for you to send your precious daughter to college. Thank you again and I hope it was exactly what you wanted. New project in the works. I was ask to do a piece for someone and can’t wait to get it finished. Will post pics after it’s done and delivered. Don’t want to ruin a surprise for anyone. Stay tuned…….. 👀
