June 20th, 2026 ~ This card was made for a lady at church who I thought could use a lift in spirit. I know I can always use one!!🙏
It's a miniature watercolor painting on watercolor paper, with stamped designs all sponged on the edges with pink ink, and either glued on with Fabri-Tac or foam "dots" which give layers and depth to the various pieces. There is a ribbon embellishment as well as metallic ink. I like to make sure that there is a tiny miniature design on the envelope to make a cute set.💐 I also made a teeny tiny gift bag box out of a brown bathroom tissue roll that I had already glued decorative paper onto, matching the card. I had some pretty beads left over from spring, so I made a bracelet and earrings to put in the little bag. I hope she likes this as much as I do. It was fun to do and makes a nice keepsake if a person is inclined.💎📿🛍🎁

May 24, 2026 ~ At church we had a presentation for Memorial Day, (done by my husband, John Davis, Tommie Arnold and Randy Triplett), and the silk flowers that we already had were red & white lilies. I stuck 2 flags in the bouquet and then decided to add some dark blue lilies. I forgot to get a photo of the flowers at church, but I will.😊

Spring 2026 ~ This past March I got the "bright idea" to try paper flower making. I had watched & saved several tutorials, so, I gave it a shot. It's actually a lot of fun, takes a lot of time, but I really like coming up with ideas. So...in March, for church, it was the Saint Patrick's Day theme, I used gold/yellow, green and white. Then, in spring I added blue, purple & pink. Tell me what you think? 💐💗

May 10th, 2026 ~ I decided to try something new, I bought some plain white gift bags and sketched a design based on a piece of floral cardstock that I had...it was a fun project. I added a place at the top for a gift tag, using a bit of that cardstock and a place to write. 💐

May 5th, 2026 ~ Several months ago I was experimenting with watercolor paints on copy paper, trying out tutorials, not wanting to waste the more expensive watercolor paper. My intention was & is to find some designs that I really like, duplicate with heavy copy paper and make my own greeting cards. Here are some of the original designs and then with fun filters.
