Good Morning!
I have been very absent this year, both from shows, and from life. I will be at NDK (in Denver) Santa fe, and Carlsbad again in sept.
At DCC I had my sisters handsheared Gotland sheep bags and throws with me to help her survive, and raise funds for her cause for su***de. In a cruel twist of fate, another nephew has passed this week. It will be the second of my nephews to pass this year, by su***de, and the 3rd overall.
My nephew who passed this week leaves behind 5 kiddos and a loving wife. 2 of thier kids are adopted. The one adoption being finalized the day before his passing. I’ll have a QR code set up in the booth, and probably a free trinket or keychain available for those who would like to donate on site. I don’t have the mental wherewithal to do any shipping atm, so I’ll just have this set up at NDK.
I appreciate and love all of you.
I have talked with my kids about doing a drawing of sorts, and giving away a corset here and there for those transitioning. This is something that I need to get the details all together on first, but, wanted to throw the idea out there is anyone has insight/feedback.
I think if you all as my extended family. And every show is like a family reunion, except with relatives you like. Thank you for making all of us at GoA feel loved and welcome in your communities.
I also hope you all know that at any show we are at, we are a safe place. Any of you are welcome to just come and hang out, or have a semi quiet place to just exist for a bit. NDK is a pretty safe harbor overall, but I wanted to put that out, just in case. Obviously this extends to the other events we do as well.
