So I did a little research on why the prices of silver are going up so much. The first and biggest reason is supply cannot live up to demand in the quantity that is needed. This makes sense to some extent but the part that bothers me is the fact that it is required in AI data centers...one more reason to hate AI, not that I really needed another. Also...NO the irony did NOT escape me that I used the AI response to my question to make this post. However it did also site the places it got the information from like the New York Post and the like. I would MUCH prefer ALL AI credited it's sources like that.

I have been in business for 17 years as of the 9th of this month and I have never done an across the board style price increase, not once. However, this is the current pricing for the wire I use on elf ears and the stuff I use for my one of a kind pendants is even higher. This means im going to have to increase prices, as much as I HATE the idea.

I'm so sorry! I know my work is out of a lot of people's price ranges as it is but I truly have no choice in the matter at this point. These prices are CRAZY!

So this afternoon when I get back from visiting my mom at the hospital, I will be updating the pricing on my website and changing out the tags on all my pieces to match.

Again, I am SO sorry, I truly HATE doing this but if I want to stay in business it's what I have to do.
