Each Kamal Gatta (lotus seed) seed bead is delicately strung on nylon cord for long lasting durability and carefully knotted between each seed bead, accented with a traditional white tassel and a silver-tone Om lotus charm. Measures 36” long. Each of these malas are blessed and activated specifically for Lakshmi.

Hi! My name is Joeva (pronounced Jo-ee-va) or Jo. I have a small business making gemstone jewelry called “Rocks and Roots Jewelry.”

I have been having a hard time staying in a routine with my chanting. When I asked myself why and really thought about it, it was more or less, because I do not have a Mala to be able to do my chanting when I would like to.

So, making jewelry as I do, I started doing some research about Mala necklaces and have decided to make my own so it would be easier for me to do my chanting daily and to follow the tradition with respect and embrace it more fully.

I’d like to extend this offer to anyone else that would like their own Mala necklace to do their chanting with also.

I will be offering 2 different types of Mala necklaces:

One made from authentic Indian Sandalwood beads with gemstone accent beads and a Buddha head guru bead with a tassel in a choice of colors. This will be made for chanting to Ganesha or any other deity of your choice.

The second Mala necklace will be made specifically for chanting to Lakshmi and will be made out of Kamal Gatta beads (lotus seeds) with a tassel in a choice of colors as well.

Both of these Malas will be made as best as I can to the traditional Buddhist Mala necklace.

If you are interested in ordering one, please specify which one you would like and we can work out the details so I can make it special for you.

Please note that it will take me approximately 3-4 weeks to obtain all the materials needed and to put it together for you and then ship it to you.

I will post more specific details as they become available to me but I wanted to see how much interest there is first.
