Over the first two Saturdays in June, you’ll find Glenn and Sod House Studio out on the road with heirloom pieces, vintage finds, hand-forged art, stone, glass, and stories collected along the way.

If you’re nearby, stop in, say hello, and take your time wandering. Some pieces seem to find the people they were meant for. ✨

There’s something I’ve realized over the last few years…

A lot of business owners aren’t struggling because they’re bad at what they do.

They’re overwhelmed trying to carry everything at once.

Marketing.
Websites.
Content.
Visibility.
Strategy.
Social media.
Systems.
The pressure to keep going…
while quietly questioning themselves behind the scenes.

𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘭𝘺?

That mindset piece matters more than most people realize.

I’ve realized over time that business strategy and mindset aren’t separate conversations.

Because when someone feels overwhelmed, discouraged, constantly second-guessing themselves, or emotionally exhausted from trying to hold everything together… 𝘪𝘵 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘷𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺, 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘺, 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘧𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦, 𝘥𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯-𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘸𝘵𝘩.

That’s why the work I do has expanded over the years.

Not away from business…
but 𝘥𝘦𝘦𝘱𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘤𝘭𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘺, 𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵, 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘧𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵.

That’s why messages like this one mean so much to me.

Not because it’s praise.

But because it reminds me 𝙒𝙃𝙔 I do this work.

👇 His words:

“I had been truly struggling to make my Handmade Jewelry business successful… Nothing was getting my name or brand to customers.

I saw a Prairie Bloom Media post and called Lynda for a consultation.

She helped me do a complete brand rebuild… After the rebrand was complete, she tackled my DIY website and created the online store of my dreams!

It was a complete turnkey business when she finished…

If you are feeling like everything you are doing is failing and you don’t have the expertise to wear all the hats to make your business successful… Take a breath, call Prairie Bloom Media and let Lynda do what she does best…”

Not everything starts as something finished.

Sometimes it’s just a piece…
picked up, turned over, looked at a little longer than most would.

No name.
No label.
No real reason to keep it—at least not at first glance.

But that’s never been the point.

There’s something in seeing what could be there…
and giving it a way to be worn.

Nothing wasted.
Nothing overlooked.

There’s a moment when something breaks…

and it feels like that’s the end of it.

A piece once used, once loved, once part of something…
now cracked, set aside, no longer whole.

But broken doesn’t always mean finished.

Sometimes it just means the story is changing.

There’s beauty here.
Not in spite of the cracks… but because of them.

If you’ve got a piece like this tucked away, it may not be the end of its story.

Not everything meaningful is found out on the prairie.

Sometimes… it’s already sitting quietly in your home.

A piece of china.
A pattern you remember.
Something tied to a table, a place, a person.

It may not be used anymore… but that doesn’t mean it’s lost.

There’s a way to bring it back into your life.
To carry it with you.
To let it be seen again in a different way.

That’s where this work begins.

What begins deep within the earth…
doesn’t lose its story when it’s brought to light.

These garnets were never meant to be perfectly shaped or polished smooth.
They were formed under pressure—slowly, intentionally—long before they ever found their way here.

And that’s what I wanted to keep.

Each piece holds that same depth…
that same quiet strength…
now set in place, but not changed beyond recognition.

Paired with pyrite, there’s a contrast—
a steady, grounded presence with just a hint of light catching the surface.

Not flawless.
Not manufactured to look like everything else.

Just… honest.

Some stones are gathered close to home…
others find their way here for a reason.

Garnet isn’t something we pull from Kansas soil.
It forms deep within the earth—often in metamorphic rock like mica schist—shaped slowly under intense heat and pressure over time.

And you can tell.

There’s a depth to it.
A quiet strength.
The kind that doesn’t need polishing to prove its worth.

When these raw garnets came into my hands, it wasn’t about changing them…
it was about honoring what was already there.

Set alongside pyrite—earth’s natural spark—
they carry both weight and light.

Not perfect.
Not refined beyond recognition.

Just… formed.

What was once hidden…
now tells its story.

From the prairie floor
to something worn and remembered—

Pyrite doesn’t lose its mystery.
It carries it.

Each piece holds the texture,
the strength,
the quiet formation that began long before it was found.

Nothing about it is forced.

Just uncovered…
refined…
and given a place to be seen.

This is the beauty of it—

Not just what it becomes,
but where it came from.

✨ From prairie stone to heirloom.

Out here… it doesn’t look like much at first.

Just prairie.
Wind.
Stone beneath your feet.

And then—something catches your eye.

A texture that feels different.
A glint you almost missed.

Pyrite.

Hidden in plain sight…
formed over time, shaped beneath the surface,
waiting to be found.

Most would walk right past it.

But every once in a while,
someone sees what was there all along.

And that’s where the story begins.

✨ Not made. Discovered. Follow along...this one becomes something special.
