I just finished this wonderful sterling silver and 14k gold pendant modeled after an ocean sculpted shell fragment which looks like an angel's wing. I was able to find a baroque pearl that fit perfectly next to the silver shell and accented the piece with a blue topaz! I will be open in the shop/studio in Duck this week Thurs, Fri, Sat. 1-5 pm.
(May be there at other times also.)
Am thinking of using the blue pearl to go with the solid 14k angel wing (shown unfinished).

Just finished this "Inner Core Whelk" with Diamond! This shape is sculpted by the ocean and is the last remnant of an actual whelk shell which has been molded and cast in 14k gold.

Am debating which stone to set on this 14k one of a kind ring which I have just constructed. I will show pictures of each candidate. Bear in mind these are preliminary photos of unfinished work. Which stone do you like? I was trying to get the stone colors to show correctly....the gold is 14k yellow with a satiny finish. I love the asymetric design of the ring! I will be in the shop this week Mon, Thurs, Fri, Sat 12-4. Come see the ring in person!

Check this out! Color change sapphire in my 14k double whelk ring. This amazing stone looks like a wine color in some lights and an indigo color in other lights....sometimes you can see the colors mingling as you turn your hand.
