Living in what I refer to as a seasonal area, I find myself working a lot in the warm months, then trickling down to a reasonable work week during the Holiday season, which allows me to catch up on rest, time with my loved ones and honestly, anything but dusting.
I decided to again attempt to make everyone something homemade for the various gift exchanges this year, and I shudder to suggest that I’ve succeeded… in fact, it’s much worse.
I know the saying is “Go big or go home” but as soon as I got home I went big. I have a vague memory of promising myself that I could spend as much as I wanted at the craft stores as soon as I sorted and cleared out some of the pieces that I decided were too beautiful or expensive to make something out of in the past. I’m excited to share pictures in the near future, I just have to put the beading needle and craft pliers down, clean the stacks of empty bead boxes, paint brushes, epoxy, jewelry that I will probably wear for a year then gift to that almost best friend I met that one week they were here on vacation and lord knows what else, off of my desk and take said pictures.
